Today marks the beginning of "Phase One" of Governor Abbott's plan to reopen Texas. As an essential business supplying feed and other supplies for animals, we remain open. In compliance with the executive order, we are allowing only a limited capacity into the building.
We will continue to practice social distancing in the store and at checkout, with clearly marked 6-foot spaces on the floor. We are also sanitizing around the clock.
In light of the continuing Covid-19 pandemic, we have extended our free delivery on feed and hay, on orders over $100 and within 25 miles of the store in Weatherford, Texas, to May 30. We hope this service will help our customers who are still affected by the pandemic.
We are also accepting customers in-store, and we will continue to provide free curbside service on all orders.

With Covid-19 affecting the entire country, we are commited to doing our part to help mitigate the spread while also remaining open as an essential source of feed, hay, and supplies for our community's animals.
Since our last letter on March 13, we have implemented even more safeguards and procedures to stay safe during this pandemic. Horseman's Supply remains open, but we encourage all customers to utilize our low-contact shopping options.
In addition to Drive-Thru Delivery, we have implemented free local delivery on orders over $100 within a 25 mile radius of our store. Free delivery runs through the end of April, at which time we will reassess the situation, and possibly extend free delivery in order to keep our community safe.
We are proud to be able to offer local feed and hay delivery directly from our website. We are also working to update the website to make ordering curbside service and standard shipping even easier than before.
In addition, we have minimized our staff for our in-store operations. All non-present staff have been sent home on fully paid leave. We are continuing to extensively clean the store, and we have reorganized our cash register area to promote social distancing.

We at Horseman’s are committed to keeping both employees and customers safe while we remain open to offer feed, hay, and supplies to our community. We are taking precautionary steps, as prescribed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), to ensure that everyone stays healthy during this time.
In addition to our regular cleanliness practices, we are emphasizing more frequent sanitation of all high-traffic areas, including cash register counters, credit card machines, computer peripherals, doorknobs, bathrooms, floors, and more.
We are also stressing the importance of personal hygiene with our employees. We ask that they frequently wash their hands with soap and water for the recommended 20 seconds, and we ask that they use sanitizer or wash after every customer interaction. Employees have also been given the option to wear gloves at the register to provide added protection while handling cash. Extra paid sick leave has been offered to employees out of an abundance of caution.
Even with these precautions in place, we understand the importance of limiting person-to-person contact during this time. That’s why we’re rolling out free Drive-Thru Delivery. If you’d prefer not to come into the store in person, all you have to do is call 817-596-0274 and place your order over the phone. Credit card payments will be accepted over the phone, or if you prefer, cash or check payments are also accepted.
Our cashiers will ring up your total, pull your order off the shelves, bag the product, and deliver it all to your car. They will also deliver feed and hay tickets directly to the loading staff, so all you have to do is back your vehicle up to the loading area, and soon you’ll be on your way!
In-store shopping is also welcome, but we hope this optional, free alternative will come as a welcome convenience during this time.
