How is Horseman's planning to stay safe in response to coronavirus?

We at Horseman’s are committed to keeping both employees and customers safe while we remain open to offer feed, hay, and supplies to our community. We are taking precautionary steps, as prescribed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), to ensure that everyone stays healthy during this time.

In addition to our regular cleanliness practices, we are emphasizing more frequent sanitation of all high-traffic areas, including cash register counters, credit card machines, computer peripherals, doorknobs, bathrooms, floors, and more.

We are also stressing the importance of personal hygiene with our employees. We ask that they frequently wash their hands with soap and water for the recommended 20 seconds, and we ask that they use sanitizer or wash after every customer interaction. Employees have also been given the option to wear gloves at the register to provide added protection while handling cash. Extra paid sick leave has been offered to employees out of an abundance of caution.

Even with these precautions in place, we understand the importance of limiting person-to-person contact during this time. That’s why we’re rolling out free Drive-Thru Delivery. If you’d prefer not to come into the store in person, all you have to do is call 817-596-0274 and place your order over the phone. Credit card payments will be accepted over the phone, or if you prefer, cash or check payments are also accepted.

Gloved cashiers will ring up your total, pull your order off the shelves, bag the product, and deliver it all to your car. They will also deliver feed and hay tickets directly to the loading staff, so all you have to do is back your vehicle up to the loading area, and soon you’ll be on your way!

Cashiers in charge of Drive-Thru Delivery will wash hands and change gloves after every order.
